The Upside-Down Kingdom
Jesus didn't come to fit into the world's way of doing things. He came to turn it upside down. In a culture that celebrates power, status, and getting ahead, Jesus announced a kingdom where the poor receive good news, servants are the greatest, enemies become neighbors, and true wealth is measured by generosity.
The Upside-Down Kingdom is a four-week series that invites us to see how Jesus overturned the values of His day and ours, and how, when we follow Him, we can live upside down too.
Week 1 | Upside-Down King (Luke 4:16–21)
Jesus launches His ministry by declaring good news to the poor, freedom for the captive, and sight for the blind. This King came not to be served, but to set people free.
Week 2 | Upside-Down Greatness (Mark 10:35–45)
When the disciples argue about who's on top, Jesus redefines greatness: whoever wants to be first must be servant of all.
Week 3 | Upside-Down Love (Luke 10:25–37)
In the parable of the Good Samaritan, the hero is the one nobody expected. Jesus calls us to a love that crosses every boundary.
Week 4 | Upside-Down Abundance (Luke 19:1–10)
Zacchaeus had everything the world values, until he met Jesus. His story shows that real abundance comes through generosity and transformation.
Watch, listen, and share each message here, and come grow with us as we learn to live the upside-down way of Jesus.
